William Warman & Guttridge Ltd has been established at Smithfield for over 80 years and is a family run business.

We have a reputation for the supply of excellent quality fresh meat, offal, poultry and game, supplying retailers, hotels, restaurants, food manufacturers and the catering industry. Our speciality is providing a bespoke service to our clients, which enables them to ask for specifically tailored products that meet their own particular needs.

With a wide range of products, including beef, lamb (from New Zealand also available), veal, pork, poultry and offal to choose from, you’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for!  If you require assistance, our staff will provide you with expert guidance.

The market will be closed on Good Friday, 29th March and Easter Monday, 1st April


Closure of Poultry Market

As part of an agreement with our landlords, the City of London, to relocate the Market to Barking and Dagenham, the traders left the Poultry Market building at the end of August this year.  The building will become part of the new Museum of London.  Smithfield Market contimues to trade from the two remaining Victorian buildings and will continue to do so until at least 2028.

We know our meat!
